“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.”
Dear Beautiful Roses,
You ever feel like you’ve been waiting for God too long? Are you becoming impatient with the process? Did you ever stop to think, that maybe the reason your blessings still seem to be on standby is because God is still waiting on YOU?
Often times we want God to submit to us without even realizing it; it is not us who holds all power, but it is our almighty God. We need to humble ourselves before him and submit to his ways. After all we need him. We often fail to realize that the Lord’s word and will can be fulfilled with or without us. It is him who loves us so much that he designed part of his will perfectly for us; that we receive blessings and benefit from.
The next time we begin to rush or question God’s timing and process, let’s remember to check ourselves. “Am I walking in alignment with God?” “What am I doing to truly enhance my relationship with the Lord on a daily basis?” “Am I seeking only the benefits of God or am I seeking God himself?” Our Heavenly Father has a divine purpose for each and everyone of us that walks this earth. Sadly, only few discover it because only few truly seek IT. Can you discover your Godly IT and reap abundance humbly? We need to change our mindsets from “What can God do for us” to “What can we do for God?” He signs the checks for our blessings, and we can’t expect pay without the work. Just as we get up every morning to go to work and collect pay from man in our daily lives; we need to get up and get to work in our spiritual lives to collect blessings from God. It is earned, not given. The Lord will stay put until we seek him and his control.
If we want our paths to be blessed we have to begin to walk in the path of the blessed. God is the source, he is not called to us, we are called to God. When we begin to do God’s work, then we will experience a truly edifying gift. God is the only one who can truly fill us and leave us satisfied with our wants and needs. When God blesses us we will no longer starve from lack or feel as if we’re missing something. Let him bless you by doing his work. Your blessings will overflow once you finally submit to God and invite him in. He will supply where you are scarce; edify where you are hungry; quench what you thirst.
Open your heart to receive the Lord and you will also receive his kingdom. God has always been near. He loves you so much that he waited just for you, even when you pushed him away and put him on hold. It is up to you to make the first move towards his glory. God is willing to bless you abundantly. What are you waiting for?
With Love Always,
